The process

How it works

Improving the health of your home doesn't have to be complicated. Our team manages the process from your first visit through to installation and beyond.

01

We assess

A certified HomeVent consultant visits your home to understand its layout, moisture sources, and ventilation needs. We match the right system to your situation.

02

We install

A professional installer handles everything in a single visit with minimal disruption to your day. The system is tested before we leave to make sure it's working perfectly from the start.

03

You enjoy

Set and forget. HomeVent runs quietly in the background, continuously bringing in filtered air and pushing out damp, stale air. Cleaner, drier, healthier air, every day.

Aligned with NZ Healthy Homes Standards

How HomeVent works

HomeVent aligns with the ventilation requirements of New Zealand's Healthy Homes Standards. It draws drier air from your roof space through a high-grade filter and feeds it gently into your home, creating positive pressure: the air inside sits slightly higher than the air outside, so damp, stale air is pushed out through the small gaps around doors and windows rather than drawn in.

Quiet, efficient and easy to live with, HomeVent delivers healthy air circulation all year round - no opening windows, no constantly adjusting settings. It's the set-and-forget way to a healthier, more comfortable home.

Renting out a property? HomeVent's continuous mechanical ventilation is a simple, set-and-forget way to help meet your Healthy Homes ventilation obligations.

Inside every system

A complete, zoned system

Every HomeVent system is custom-designed around your home's layout. Fresh air is drawn through the central fan and filter unit in the roof space, then carried by insulated ducting to discreet ceiling outlets in each room.

  • Fan & filter unit Sits in the roof space, drawing in fresh air and filtering it before it's distributed.
  • Insulated ducting R0.6 insulated flexible ducting carries the air while holding its temperature.
  • Ducting branches Split the airflow evenly so every zone gets a balanced, consistent supply.
  • Ceiling outlets Discreet, paintable diffusers deliver filtered air into each room.

Available as two, four, or six-zone systems as standard, with custom configurations to suit any home.
